Seems odd to sit at the back, if you are planning an attack :D

It would be equally odd to spend all your energy trying to stay at the front for long time before your attack.

Nobody said anything about spending energy at the front buddy - there is a difference between sitting in the first half, and the last third :)

It's not that easy to "sit" in the first half in these races, buddy, when everyone wants to sit there.

QS have 4 riders in the front group. Asgreen, Stybar, Jungels and one more.
GVA is alone. CCC is really bad as a team.
Lampaert is there.

Gilbert, Vanmarcke, Naesen, Wellens don't seem to be there.

Corendon better than CCC

They literally showed a close-up of Vanmarcke and Naesen for a full 30 seconds.
But in the front group or peloton?

Yes, but that seemed to be in the second group (Peloton)??
They just confirmed Naesen is missing in the front group, so that means Vanmarcke is as well.

Oh yeah second group, my bad.

Weird how long it takes for AG2R to hit the front in 2nd peloton.
