Trentin doing an excellent job of discouraging attacks off the front group.

Someone needs to launch off that group soon though. Waiting to be caught prior to the final climb is no good. I'm not sure anyone has the legs to do that to be fair.

If Pedersen can get enough of a gap ahead to be hanging on over the final climb he's probably got the best sprint of anyone in the race.

I hope the winner won't be an idiot, but unfortunately I'm not sure there is anyone left in the race who hasn't been accused of being one today.
Would be funny if that was the case - Im afraid its only the DS' of Jumbo, UAE and Alpecin who decided to put their star riders in this situation.

Come on...

If the big 3 does not catch the front group, on paper it's Pedersen and Trentin who are fastest... but my money is on Van Hooydonck, who has done nothing (and rightly so) in the break.

Strong counter-attack by the Big3. The gap was reduced fast but stabilised around 40 seconds. Will they make it? They will need a big acceleration on last sequence of climbs. The peleton might have given too much time to those strong guys ahead.
