Trentin racing this aggressively and actively trying to make such a break I just don't understand. This is a bad situation when other team literally are sending out their best options (Asgren, Pedersen, Jorgensen, Kung, Powless etc etc.)

What are Jumbo and UAE doing?

Trentin on a good day is a top 10 candidate. So if he joins an elite group that increases his chances further. I think current he's one of the 3 best riders in that group so it's actually a very good move. Same chance of winning as Pogacar vs vdp and wva.
