theyoungest said:Why then, when Contador races up a climb, all he can do is hang on for dear life? Which is pretty impressive, don't get me wrong, but at no point has he seemed stronger than Contador.

(Yes I consider "engine to compete in long races" to be part of what you'd call "talent")
Yes, I can read, hence the disclaimer in brackets. And still, that only applies to the second post. The greatest cycling talent since Pantani bit is just sad.Ryo Hazuki said:do you even read? I said, tests in THESE. talking about a specific thing there. rujano isn't only tests that are amazing. the guy has incredible recuperation and engine already proven at age 23 in his first giro. combine that with his incredible watt tests. yes I think he's the greatest cycling talent since pantani.
Ryo Hazuki said:the firts post was BASED on his test results. young one asked me one reason. well one reason are his test reuslts but not the ONLY reason. other reason is the way he rides. watt he puts out in races and climbs. and it's all my opinion. I remember last year getting laughed at for claiming rujano wa sthe only riderpossible to follow contador
I hope Rabobank sign him.Mellow Velo said:The only thing that could stop Ryo optimistically and endlessly talking up the incredible shrinking man's prospects, would be if he signed for BMC.![]()
Ryo Hazuki said:no I got laughed at (before the giro) for claiming rujano was the only rider in potential to beat contador. after etna I was assured he could be better than him in the mountains(not gc as he already lost 5 minutes in sterrato). on grossglockner despite the weather it was alreaydy appearant. after that he got sick unfortunately![]()
jens_attacks said:look at the traitor kreuziger conspiring behind.don't like the dude at all, hope omega signs him
The Hitch said:I really don't get why you glorify his grossglockner performance so much.
Aren't you all against the whole giving gifts part of cycling? Don't you detest the Tourmalet 010 like stages where 2 riders come in together to the finish, 1 lets the other win and then they shake hands.
Isnt that the whole point about why Lat Am cycling is so great?
Then what the hell are you doing glorifying the Grossglockner stage.
The only difference between Schleck on Tourmalet and Rujano on Grossglockner is that Schleck actually tried to win. He attacked to drop Contador multiple times. He pushed a high pace to drop Contador. Even for the win he actually launched a sprint to make sure he got the stage.
And Schleck pushed the pace the whole way, Contador didnt go in front once.
Rujano on Grossglockner on the other hand did absolutely none of that and whatsmore didnt even sprint for the win but rather gently strolled in with his hands in the air forcing Contador to stop peddling 50m from the end in order to make sure Rujano got the stage. As if to make it even more obvious that it was a gift. Couldn't even play the "I was holding on to his wheel because I knew I would outsprint him in the end" card.
Hell Rujano and Contador even did the handshake bit.

Ryo Hazuki said:he said after grossglocker that contador was of a different level and rujano was ridiculous and that it was better left to not talk about him. as in that he was doped.
kind of ironic that contador is now suspended and rujano has never even been accused. wonder what that idiot thinks now

The hypocrisy and double standard is there even if we think that Rujano isn't clean, because Kreuziger praised Contador in the same tweet.gilbertador said:Oh the irony of Rujano who can only perform under Savio being clean!! No chance sorry to break your delusion
CAS didn't accept such a thing (go over to the Clinic for the details), but at any rate this was way before the CAS ruling.gilbertador said:Even CAS except the clenbuterol wasnt due to doping, sounds like all the other riders think exactly the same, he was just very unlucky
