Not Sky vs Movistar.

Movistar vs Tom Dumoulin. And he almost got it.. damnit Valverde.

Oh come on.. 7 seconds in a prologue is complete destruction.. no-one was even close to Valverde today.

You're misunderstanding it. I didn't say he almost got Valverde. I said he almost got it, which would've been the case if Valverde wasn't so damn good today. It's really not that hard to comprehend. There was only 1 guy better (albeit much better) out of how many starters, 100? 120?

Nice results for Dumoulin and Izagirre, I'll be expecting and hoping for big things from these two this season (especially Izagirre). If only Valverde hadn't gotten in the way! :p Nah, good win for him I suppose. Will probably take the overall for 3rd year in a row. Would be cool if Izagirre could hang on to a podium spot as well.

i expect alejandro to survive but the attacks of sir wiggo, richie, kiry and thomas will be brutall stuff. also dumoulin most likely too

15 seconds in to Sir Bradley over 7km prologue is pretty glowing performance, some top form for Valverde here.

great ride by valverde. I didn't expect he will win it. I thought Richie would take it seeing how he rode TDU. Surprisingly wiggins got beaten by kiryenka? If this trend continues, Moviestar is going to be definitely a torn for sky comes july. Can't wait to see tomorrow's stage.

Valverde often pulls out ridiculous prologues, not overly surprised tbh, least of all in Feb.

The course was quite technical right? My commentators said that there were about 14 curves on the route, that means one curve for every 500 metres. So maybe it was more about getting the right trajectory through the curves and accelerating several than just putting out the most watts.

Would be nice if you could help me find one prologue where he puts 2 seconds / km over the 2nd and 4th place in WC ITT from the previous year.

Map on page 1.

Not quite Tour of Sibiu.

And Valverde should stop peaking for February
