wow really? people who exclude Nibali from a top 10 must be on something strong

Well if I remember correctly the quote was "there are AT-LEAST 20 riders that are better climbers then Nibali" lol :D

Did you see their leadout?

Started with 5 km to go, Eddy was in the wind with 700 meters left.

Agree, it was a bad lead out. But I expect more from Eddy anyway. Don't you?

He seldom makes smart decisions in bunch sprints.

#60Rds @SilvestreFbio was in breakaway, but drops back to peloton to contest final sprint instead. Finishes 8. Nice work Fabio!

I really hope they give him some freedom on the classics

Yesterday they had announced they would go for him in the sprint. Glad to see they do not only have him do domestique duties!

I don't know his race schedule, and which semi-classics Trek is racing, but I could see him well in some breakaway there

Number 4 and last stage:

edit: this is the right profile.

Message to Sky: Go all in on the first climb. Movistar might be a bit tired after driving the peloton everyday. And who cares about 2nd places these days anyway.

Otherwise I'm going with Kessiakoff or Lulu.

Race starts at noon local and ends around 16:00

Nice work Fabio but what was Trek thinking? If they wanted to contest the sprint what was he doing in the break?

What the hell is wrong with him? I hope he escapes Sky whenever he can, clearly it's not working for anyone except Froome and Wiggins that get a super domestique in July.

Clearly its more to do with Eddy dude, people said Rogers would be back to his worst last year when he left he done well dint he? You cant blame Sky when every other rider improves, i mean EBH would probably lose a hilly classic to Porte these days which should not happen its his own fault, he obviously has not improved i have faith he can though.

Last year he won the following:
- national ITT
- a stage and GC in Glava tour of Norway
- a stage in Dauphine

Compare that to his palmares 2008-2012 and you realize that he hasn't exactly evolved, rather the opposite. Right now he is good in many things, but not great in one thing. He needs to change things, starting with going to a new team, so he can skip being a f**king domestique in TdF. I want to see EBH going back to be a strong time-trialist and an attack rider with a decent sprint. All the focus on becoming a better climber so he can help Froome/Wiggo/Porte hasn't been all that good for EBH imo.

trhere is no team in which ebh would be a leader. he's failed in everyone's eyes and never won anything big and he's turning 27 this year

You are probably right, he is getting older now, other young promising riders are more interesting. He needs a big win this year otherwise I think the rest of his career will be as a domestique with individual opportunities on stages in smaller races. But I'm not sure he will get that many chances this year at Sky. Stannard, Thomas, Eisel will hardly ride for EBH in the classics due to the fact that EBH hasn't have a great result in the classics since he won Gent-Wevelgem back in 2009...

ebh doens't have the engine anyway to win a classics over 200 km and don't come with his tirreno stages. I'[m talking real one day classics. so where is he supposed to shine in? he's great itt, but will never be world class. he can't climb well enough for serious gc's and his sprint is not goodf enough for massprints. I'm sure ebh himself has already settled with the fact he will become a very strong domestique when in form and if not he doesn't have a good future in cycling
