Samu's 2024 Emerging Female Riders CQ Game

Madrazo is still comfortably in the lead. Anderis has moved up to 3rd.

Sadly both the teams in this game and in the main one have been affected by the stupid situation in Trofeo Binda, where a lot of riders weren't allowed to finish the race because the roads were reopened too soon.

The March results are in (including Ronde de Mouscron on April 1st). Madrazo's team is still comfortably in the lead, but Rufs and Libertine Seguros both managed to claw back a few points this month, so some great comebacks might still be on the horizon.

Come on, my picked riders, emerge!! ;)

Okay. I guess we got all we are going to out of Puck this year. It is now time for Van Empel to do her thing. And lets get some emergence from Rayer, Bego and Moors while we are wishing for things. Lets see if anyone else is racing soon.

The April scores are in. Madrazo is still king, but Laurens147 and I managed to decrease our deficits quite a bit the past month. At the bottom of the table, RhD is now more than 1000 points behind our leader, but her team wasn't the worst this month.

Madrazo is still comfortably in the lead, but Laurens147 has once again had a good month and has moved up to second place. It's a fairly close fight for the last two spots on the podium at the moment though.

Among our selected riders, only Cat Ferguson and Lauren Molengraaf haven't scored points yet.

I wasn't home in the beginning of the month, so I was waiting for the first July download from CQ before giving you all an update. However it took them until the end of the Giro to release it, so it contains results from the past 45 days.

@MADRAZO is still in the lead, but 7 players have scored more points than him since the last update, and I'm now "only" 205 points adrift (Kim Le Court's Giro performances helped me a lot here). @Anderis holds on to 3rd place, but @Rufs is only a couple of points behind at this stage, and a further 3 teams are within 30 points of the podium.

@Dk one has had the best month and a half out of everyone, but has only moved up one spot to 13th. @RedheadDane won't win this, but can at least find some solace in the fact that she's outperformed @jon ezeitza for the third update in a row.

Some other interesting things are that Cat Ferguson is now the only rider who hasn't scored points yet, and that Puck Pieterse remains the highest scoring rider among every possible pick with 350 points, despite her not having raced on the road for 3.5 months. But Usoa Ostolaza, who wasn't picked by anyone, is now just 7 points behind on 343.

A quick update before the start of Tour de France Femmes on Monday.
Some of our riders will take part in the race, so let's hope they will be able to bring home points next week.

With Puck Pieterse returning to road racing, I expect Madrazo will start to increase his lead over me once again, but time will tell.

Wo-hoo: only manager to break the 100 mark during these 3 weeks.

I have done very poorly even by my own low expectations of the games this year (except for Jon Ezeitza's Women's CQ game at Parlamento Ciclismo, which I am inexplicably heading for the second year in a row), But I must be a sucker for self depreciation, because my main task for this afternoon is to get the Vuelta game posted (although not fully running until Monday). So keep an eye out for that one.

After Cat Ferguson's stellar senior debut on Sunday, all of our riders have now scored points.
Due to her victory in the Groupama Ladies Race Slovakia in July, Viktória Chladoňová is still the highest scoring junior this season with 40 points, 4 more than Ferguson.

Things are heating up at the front, with Madrazo's lead over me having now shrunk to just 15 points.
Rufs has pulled ahead in the fight for third, but it's still quite tight.

RhD's stars of tomorrow continues to outperform jon ezeitza's team, but question is if the gap after the first few months will be too big to close before the end of the season comes along.

Cat Ferguson has well and truly arrived, which has helped @Dk one massively in this update.
The biggest news, however, is that after over 8 months in the lead, @MADRAZO has now been overtaken. But it remains a very, very close battle, as you can see.
