Poor Luca Scinto:

"What can I say, I'm stunned. I defended him more than any other rider because right from the start in Naples there were really bad rumours going around about him. I didn’t want to believe him and more than once I talked to him face to face. He said: 'It's only jealously, don’t worry but you can't keep asking me questions because they're offensive."

That must be in the handbook of Directeur Sportifs.
Luca, the man who brought in Daniele Tarsi.
Luca, the Ferretti man.

Yep, that Luca.

WTF ?! "Offensive"...and he was ok with that? That guy has zero authority, reminds me of Holczer.

Lol this is a totally new level of trolling. A guy who guarantees that wiggins and froome are clean questions betancur, a young rider without half their climbing or tt skill who actually showed his talent before either of them even though hes signficantly younger.

:D

Er, go check your facts Hitch. If you're going to engage, do so properly equipped.

Now, the real questions:
- Why did it take more than a month to the analysis? That's way too long for my tastes.
.

Its the period of time he had to come up with the money

Pellizotti was probably juiced too, these guys never learn.

The only thing they've learned is the UCI is okay with doping. Just don't hit the super-secret losing combination of factors that generate an AAF.

Not surprised. Just shaking my head at the sloppiness of doctors and his masking agent. Sheesh !

Now we know Hesjedal was clean due to his lack of performance. :D

So true, dont know much about this Cookson guy but he's got to be a small improvement on McQuaid.

haha. Cookson is McQuaid version 2.0.

The short story: Cookson runs British Cycling and simultaneously runs Team Sky and sits on the UCI's Management committee. He landed a whale with the Sky sponsorship. Since money is all that matters to the UCI, he's probably well regarded, much more so than Pat.

It would be interesting to know how deeply he was involved in the amaaaaazzzzing 2012 Team Sky sports fraud.

Oh well,if Cookson wins its business as usual then.:(

Tygart shouldn't have called Postal the most sophisticated team doping program ever, its yet to be unmasked as we all know.

Is it a perfect copy of the USPS program? Probably not. But, so much of the external stuff is identical to USPS. The owner of USA Cycling owned USPS, no boundaries between the sport federation and the Pro Team they support.....

No one on the one-day race squad is riding the peloton off their wheel like the grand tour riders. So, a few differences for sure.

My vote for the most sophisticated doping program is the IOC. WADA's bio-passport sure seems like it should be effective. If anyone bothered to read the rules/process documentation, they'd see it is an elaborate shell game.

Some people see it as bad news and other as good news. I think is good news. Especially when it is very obvious.

I love the way every single doping discussion very quickly turns into an anti-Sky rant.

Well they are getting away with daylight robbery.

Can't blame the other teams trying to keep up.

The Clinic called this one a month ago.

Somewhere in the clinic, someone is calling out every rider in the peloton when they have a good day... So it's not really worth mentioning that it was said in the clinic..

Christ, there's has been doubt placed over everyone by the Clinic... I'm guilty as well, just a bit selective
