Two dangerous Aussies in this breakaway, peleton not giving them much time. Will Clarke was in UniSA team last year when he had a solo breakaway and won Stage 2 last year. Don't think they will give him that leeway again. Clarke has taken 6 seconds in bonuses with his two intermediate sprint wins

The other Aussie from UniSA is young Calvin Watson who won the Herald Sun Tour overall 3 weeks ago. Tough youngster.

He was strong last year on willunga hill as domestic for Valverde (and still rode a decent GC himself).

And I think he had his first born not long ago which he wants to dedicate a win to, although I guess that wont be easy.
