Hi guys! New poster here :)

I'm trying to win an TdF fantasy game where you can pick 20 riders from the peloton every stage. So obviously it's about picking the top 20.

Mine top 20:
1.Cancellara
2.Wiggins
3.Sagan
4.Martin
5.EBH
6.Gretsch
7.Evans
8.Chavanel
9.Larsson
10.Kessiakoff
11.Farrar
12.Monfort
13.Engoulvent
14.Zabriskie
15.Millar
16.Froome
17.Rogers
18.Cav
19.P.Velits
20.Grabsch

What do you think will be Top 20 tomorrow? :D

you might want to put frenchman Peraud in there. He is motivated and not bad in ITT . Better than Cav in solo effort for sure

Who do you think will be best on the prologue of these two? Gonna place a bet on this Head2Head :)

Marcel Kittel vs Tyler Farrar

Thanks for helping!

For sure?

Kittel was a TTer before he was a sprinter.

Isn't Farrar one of the stongest sprinters in the peloton? And considering the fact that Kittel cant get over a cat 3 climb, Farrar should be better imo.

You're right about the "sure" part though, everything can happen as both wont likely to go all out in the prologue

I could see it going either way.

Farrar has top 10'd a Tour prologue before which can't be sniffed at.

But Kittel has podiumed prologues in the last couple of years, and was 3rd in the U23 ITT has last year as an espoir.

Depends whether he has ideas about green or is being heavily managed to conserve energy absolutely everywhere other than sprint finishes.

I would have said Kittel. He did well in u23 TTs.

There's no great deal of certainty in a race this short. Outside the big 4 (Fabs, Martin, Wiggins, Sagan) anyone could feature in the top 20. We're talking a matter of seconds here.

What's Kittel's non-ability to climb got to do with this prologue?

He's not the strongest guy around to do well in prologue, although there are great prologue riders who can not stay with his team in a TTT

He in 2010 was considered to be future talent as a Time Trialer/Prologue kind of rider

How can you say he's not the strongest around in prologues then.

It's not like Farrar has shown anything great this year *lol*

He did quite well in the Giro prologue, wasnt he top 30 or something?

29 th indeed ;)

It's not like that result is great though.

However, I think it will be close. And defo it will be closer than you think, as Kittel is very dangerous rider and might surprise.

Kittel could finish anywhere between 5th and 190th
Farrar could finish anywhere between 5th and 190th

It depends mostly on motivation, is there any real incentive for either to go all out? Not sure.
