With the GC competition looking red hot at the Vuelta he should still have the form for a top 10 with a couple of big chances for stage wins. Im just glad he's back and competitive anyway.

"We rode well as a team and stuck together as usual. Everyone did a good job to keep us near the front. The roads here are so slippery that positioning is vitally important. Sergio [Henao] went down on a corner today and obviously there was that massive crash with over half the peloton involved.

people said Sky could've faked his crash during the TdSuisse TT recon. there was a pic of his bike but not of him. people asked about pics of him in hospital/ during recovery.

seeing him going well now in even nicer after those claims

i hope that he has fully recovered from the terrible injury he had.
i am sure he will have a great season with a complete preparation, starting from the colombia nationals in tunja in a couple of weeks.

He was already recovered last year (coming very close to winning Pais Vasco in just his second race back from injury). Still, as you say he should be even a bit better this year with a year's training and racing back in his legs and a full preparation to start this season.

I don't think he was fully recovered. He showed that in La Vuelta. He just needed some more miles and races. Hope he has a great year. Cannot wait any longer.

wow, after people asked for pictures of his scars and rehab, here is a post from the bike-motors thread

Did Henao have a disc wheel at his TdS recon crash? Have always been curious why sky left the frame but took the wheels.
