What's the story with Henao? Why hasn't he gone to europe before now (supposedly)? He only seems to ride a couple UCI races each year. What does he ride otherwise? Is there a Colobian domestic scene where he rides or does he do MTB the other parts of the year or what?

Pretty sure he does most of his riding in south america.
Anyway we will see if the sky rumors eventuate or if he can get a pro-contract.
It will be most interesting a few of these stages to see how he holds up against some of the american pros.

Mostly colombian/south american racing but with taste of EU according to CQ.

yeah.. did i ever say it was a bad race, maybe you should learn to read before making ridiculous statements. I assume your capable of understanding this yea?
My point was there is probably more structure in european racing, and I know they rider a harder tempo on the flats which can tire riders who are not used to this.
All I said it is different racing in europe, not necessary better. The transition is obviously a difficult one, because the tempo and races are ridden differently. But yeah I must be the ignorant for stating such a ridiculous claim that riders need to adapt, and not some chump who can't understood logic.

I'm not sure if it has been officially confirmed. But certainly Henao himself has said he is riding for Sky next season

i was against it before but after what i've seen sky in this year's tour de france,i really think that henao should go there.

Everybody has been screaming at why didn't he go to Europe last year, but he decided to wait for personal reasons. Maybe Botero told him to wait to be better prepared for the European scene.

Even though you think Uran has done nothing but work for white guys, if you go by CQ raning he's just had his most successful season to date. I'd say everyones concerns about his move to Sky during the winter have been unfounded.
Anyway, Henao is a great talent and, if his move to Sky or another European team is confirmed then it'll be great to see what he can do

I just hope that Sky will take care of him & give him a nurturing environment where he can develop even further- Sergio has a potential with limitless possibilities IF he's well developed-not the almost "assassination" that Barloworld did on Soler when he was forced to ride while he was sick or recently recovering from injuries......

But Beltran will trump all of them.
Henao and Beltran will be better than Porte, TJ, Kennaugh etc and everyone else people are pumping up. Porte can't even be competitive in the Tour of Denmark when leader of a squad lol.

I reckon that Henao will be very successful with a bit of luck. I'm hopeful that the move to Sky will come off and that will be good for him. With Urans there he'll have some support through the transition.
I didn't think much of Sky last year (not the only one there, I think!), but I like them a lot better this year and next year they could have a really exciting, young team. It's smart of them to sign-up Henao. I think that the signs are good that he won't be used as a domestique for when the road goes up and will be allowed to develop at his own pace, unlike Soler at BarlowWorld. I just hope that Sky don't spoil it if they sign Cavendish and turn into HTC Mark II.

Uran, Duarte and Henao shall all be great. Phil Ligget does not cover south american races so you cannot blame him.
