Anyone know what is happening with the Tour de Suisse?

Robert Hatch said Sky were showing it but I just seen their viewing and it says nothing about showing the race.

My TV guide on the box is up until Monday now and it still says nothing about it.

Even if it was on the red button you would still see highlights programmes on later in the day. That's what they did for the last day of Romandie when it was on the red button.

Not looking good so far for showing this.

according to the Tour de Suisse guide there will be only highlights on SkySports

Yet the viewing (up until Monday) so far says there's no highlights to be shown on these days.

My guess and I maybe wrong is that they might do a general round-up of the race for an hour or so after it finishes.

Pathetic if this is the case.

IMG sold the rights to this race and Romandie and this is what they get in return.

yeah, propably just a 1 hour round-up, but Tour de Suisse live coverage is totally messed up anyway, the only european non pay tv stations showing the race (except swiss tv) are Sporza and some local spanish channels. They definitely need to work on that

It's races like Omloop, Brabantse Pijl, and G-W which are the ones that most interest me on the list as Eurosport normally don't show them and I have trouble watching them. I hope they are more than 30 mins highlights this time but I wouldn't hold my breath. There's no criticism from me if they keep Scheldeprijs at 30 mins though.;) If I'm not mistaken they showed DDV last year but not now. That might change in the week of the race and there might be one or two more added as the year goes on. Remember they also showed highlights of the new ASO race in Norway.

I hope Eurosport do KBK next month like they were doing last year only for its cancellation.

Cheers for posting Gooner. I notice Oman is on the Sky list, Eurosport had the highlights of it last year.

I really hope TdS is more than a single highlights programme after the whole race's conclusion. That was disappointing stuff.

Sky had Oman the last few years even before the big increase in their cycling coverage last year. It's the same as the Suisse coverage, a general round up of the entire race after it finishes.

Eurosport's coverage should still be the same.

Now you say it, that rings a bell.

Sky will be doing a new weekly magazine show starting in March.

Satellite TV station Sky have announced the launch of cycling sport show inCycle, which will start a 28-week run on March 19.

The 24-minute magazine programme, in association with IMG Media, will include news, features, previews and reviews around the major international cycling events, many of which Sky will cover live, or through highlights in 2014.
