Me too, but there's no room in the poll with all those Astana leaders.:(
Remember the last time Bruynell took 4 leaders to the tour? 2006.....Oooopps!

Of the list, Shleckette or Gesink.

I think it's time to get rid of the same 'ol same 'ol.

Yeah, Kreuziger was the 1st guy I left off in favor of Kloden and LL. I figured I better have them on there since they've both podiumed at the Tour. Besides, I figured there might be more people who wanted to vote for them. And VdV's crash/current form got him left off of the list.

Fwiw, I think there's a decent chance there will only be one Astana guy in the top 10 and certainly no more than 2.

I would love to see Evans win it. Especially being an Aussie living in the US! Hopefully he will attack this year like he did in the Dauphine, but maybe plan his attacks a little better and not try to ride everyone off his wheel!

luckyboy

Anyone that isn't wearing light blue jerseys. Oh, and as long as they attack and don't win in TTs

I voted for Andy

Me too, although I very much doubt either of these things to happen.

would love for kloden to get the yellow jersey just see how armstrong or contador reacts. Hoping for a all out slogfest in the mountains.

I'd love to see Lance win even more now since that would drive the resident hate mob completely crazy. :D

However, I don't think he will. I'm not sure yet which of my other favorites would make me happiest if they won - Menchov or Schleklet.

Evans will finish second, probably. ;)

At time of posting

54% want either Evans or Armstrong to win out of this list. Conclusive

Interesting considering the anti Armstrong and anti Evans sentiment on this forum. Wonder if it will change as more Yanks wake up?

Yeah why is there anti Evans sentiment...

Need to add "none of the above"

I want to see a good race, but I am not sure I am a fan enough of any of them to want one specific person to win.

I don't want Armstrong or anyone from Australia.

Go Cav- a far but popular shot- more like Chippo than a brick like Armstrong!

If I could pick someone not on the list, I'd pick...

Oscar Periero.

The guy rode a great Tour in 2006. People gave him crap as he got in a long breakaway, but that only happened as he lost time a few days before when he bonked. He then fought tooth and nail to the very end to win. When it was over, he stood on the 2nd place of the podium, with none of the glory of winning, and had the Tour handed to him weeks later. A lot of people don't even think of him as a Tour winner. :(

So, here's hoping in Stage 13, he's the guy who breaks away and builds a big lead, and holds it until the end.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Cadel win it either. I think he gets a bad rap (at least as regards his racing style).

Bad rap? He's only ever done any attacking when forced to, like in the Giro. Honestly, unless you're Australian, the verdict has to be that he's a boring rider to watch.

Seems to me their are a few closet cadel fans out there.

More like closet Aussies. :D

That's actually not really true. I watch tons of races and I've seen him attack quite a bit. Granted, not in mtn stages at GTs which is where everyone wants him to see it.

I'd LIKE to see Andy Schleck in yellow after the last stage, but I wouldn't dare put more than what's currently jingle-jangling in my pocket on that... ;)

I HOPE Contador doesn't make it (even if he's the safest bet IMO). Same goes for the rest of Astana, and also the highly prepped russian fronting Radobank  God, how I hated to see him in pink during the Giro! If he goes yellow in July, then ¤%€@§§%£!!!

I'd not be unhappy if Sastre did it again, though...

Do people not remember this 'attack' from last years Tour?

This years course does suit him though....

I would like to see Carlos...... but methinks Alberto!
