today starts costa rica with a tough circuit race. wonder if it will be technical because then the colombians will have hell to pay to the costa ricans like in the first stage of vuelta higuito

companioni is perhaps the biggest talent from cuba in years. he's a trackrider but very allround. he's a bit like legendary cuban cyclist pedro pablo perez, maybe a bit better climbing but virtually the same. also incredibly fast

incredible itt by the 2 costa rican favorites. rojas will have to attack now and so do the colombians with 1 hard mountain itt, hilly stage and 3 stages with cerro de la muerte (3451m!) to go! for sure raabe and bonilla will fly in those downhils and the colombians will suffer but can gain in climb a lot
