yes for 4 years :( he still holds his win in san luis though he wasn't caught there on anything strangely enough. he was caught on on steroids in chile which seems weird to use them and other then that are rumors politically that they tried to screw arriagada (that's what he says) because he still holds "old chilean cycling" and was a star. he also held the chilean flag at the olympics, the old chilean cycling was lots of doping, he was only one to never get caught and garrido who finished 2nd in vuelta last year is brother of one of most powerful men in chilean cycling victor garrido. used to be director of lider

maybe they knew arriagada was up to something and wanted to catch him at all costs and suspend him for life. one other star sartasov had the same thing happen to him some years ago and he is back now

the new generation is there though with especially vicente muga, luis mansilla, wolfgang burmann, christopher mansilla and edison bravo (super talent in spain)

"Cerro de la Muerte" (Mountain of death) is more deadly descending than ascending, anyone who seriously rides a road bike in CR is a F-ing hero!

I know Jelly Belly has signed a young Mexican for their 2012 roster. He's a climber, and I'll be keeping an eye on him. I think he was born in 1990 or something, I'm gonna have to double check. For right now, the Mexican I root for the most is Luis Macias.

I've also been looking at Sergio Escutia. My avatar at the moment is a picture of him at the junior worlds.

luis davila. he isn't really a climber. more a one day racer and hilly guy imo and good itt,. he is only 19 years old and I will be checking him out too but after that is a lineup of talents way better that I can barelky believe. they did the pan american games team pursuit with 3 guys of 17!! and broke national record by nearly 10 seconds despite a crash which meant they had to restart!

escutia is pretty great talent. mostly itt but cristian medina I dare say is better. he was pan american itt champ juniors last year and is also in track pursuit team

GARCÍA FICACHI Rodolfo Ivan
LEMÚS DÁVILA Luis Enrique
MEDINA BASTIDA Christian Alejandro
PORTILLO Angel Andy
ESCUTIA Sergio
VON NACHER SUESS Fabrizio
AGUIRRE INFANTE Jose Alfredo
QUINTAL VALENCIA Johnny Joan

these are ones to keep track of in coming years imo 1992-1994

there is also a 1990 rider uri martins showing incredible progress. he is very allround. improved a lot in climbing by losing some weight
