this year not on interlagos circuit? :(

Nope, on a dull looking out-and-back seafront course:

And in Rio, not in São Paulo. I really hope they don't make something like this the course for the Summer Games in 2016.

Final GC:

1. FREDDY VARGAS #Tachira
2. JOSE CHACON Tachira
3. JOSE ALARCON Movistar

Sprints classification: Alexander Giraldo
KOM classification: Maky Roman

Bit of a comeback for Alarcon after a quite disappointing 2011. Maky Roman seems to be a interesting rider, too. He was great already in Bolivia and Mexico at the end of last year.

gc in chile after yesterdays very hard stage with huge gaps. will be hard for cardenas. the chilean riders aorund him should do a better itt although cardena shas improve d a lot they are very strong specialists. farellones is a very long hard climb though and cardenas will need take take some serious time there. he prepared well for this he really wants to win this.

the chileans are of very high level and I can't wait for them in san luis to see them against europeans of high level

Indeed. They've won 3 of the previous four stages. Almonacid sure looked good in yesterday's stage. And although it wasn't such a mountainous stage, the finale sure looked hard as some riders were pedaling squares up the final stretch of road.
