Evans did the right thing by not riding beside him. For a sprinter who are usually very good bike handlers you have to worry about Farrar although once again it was another finish included by the Giro organisers that was designed for a crash. Imagine if it was wet. The small climb towards the end was pointless as they sprinted up it followed by a technical descent.
