If Landa had been the leader since the beginning, Contador probably would have problems to win this giro

Why that? He would still get those 4+ minutes he took in the ITT.

Landa has won all these stages as Contador has been more concerned about Aru

Strongest man win again.Brave ride for Landa but big fail for Astana today, they should have let him go on Mortirolo.

but astana did not let him go on mortirolo - so no one will ever know.

if, if, if, if, if...if frogs had wings, they wouldn't bump their asses when they hopped!

Kinda classless by Landa as expected. He basically wheelsucked from about 35 Kms out and not pulling even once. In fact the 2'51" he has on Aru is all due to the efforts of Kruisj and AC.

Kudos to Kruis on a great ride, and AC for a beast of a performance on the Mortirolo. After being left behind by Astana at the descent of the Tinolo when he had a mechanical.

Landa would have gotten more time out of this stage if he had been the leader. More over we don't know how strong he really was in the time aru was able to fight against contador.

I can't wait to see the excuses astana will come up to justify them riding. Teams always deny doing it :D

I don't think so. He got 38 seconds on AC today because he wheelsucked 174 kilometres. The stage would have played out totally different had Landa been the leader.
