Racing in the cold is brutal. The worst experience I have ever had on a bike. Had to bite my wet gloves off with my teeth because my fingers wouldn't move. One guy needed 3 people to pry his arms off the bike at the feed station.

Grivko was very strong in Tirreno, but been a helper all year.

Agree with this, I challenge anyone to go out when temperatures are close to freezing and it's raining then start moaning about cyclists in this weather, it's absolute torture whether your being paid or not! Your body can only take so much especially these riders who's BMI is so small compared to the average amateur cyclist.

I'm loving/hating the camera time from the moto at back of the group. It gives me that same race anxiety of dangling just off the group, trying to hold on.
