Ryo is saying lot of things. Some of them have to become true eventually, it's just simple likelihood :)

I get your point, you are true:D.But in this case you have to admit that he really knew something what most of other people didnt.

He could've put minutes into everybody had he wanted to. He's reserving himself.for tomorrows stage which he will win. I'm just a bit worried for as the climb only starts after 7k, in which he will lose a bit. I still think he will put up to 1-2 minutes into everybody

My man Quintana has his eyes, mind & soul on the Zoncolan- He wants his name written on the books of that legendary climb:cool:

Lot of energy saving going on. Only Rolland really tried anything.

Incredible how many strong Colombian riders there are nowadays. I remember laughing when Ryo Hazuki promised Colombian domination a few years ago.

And to think guys like Betancur, Chaves, Atapuma, Beltran and Acevedo aren't even here. They have real depth.

This renaissance of the Colombians is a breath of fresh air to the sport.

Well it certainly has proved to be a good forecast. Maybe a South America Tour will be on the cards one day ?

There are lots of South American races already. Venezuela two weeks, Colombia two weeks, etc. In addition a lot of one week races. If they want to, they can easily create a three week GT in Colombia. Its simply two different calenders, even the Colombians in Europe don't race there a lot between February and September.

Well that would be an added advantage having a major tour outside the usual April-August season.

Would love to see some helicopter shots of the Columbian mountains !

EDIT: Unless of course it is the rainy season ! I have seen Romancing The Stone !!

I don't think the podium will be decided until the Zoncolan. The gaps are too small unless someone does really well in the TT. I think the TT will help Uran to stay on the podium.

Somehow I think Rolland will struggle a lot on the Zoncolan and I don't think he is the best Mountain TT'er either. Despite my avatar, I'm rooting for him, his way of riding is both good for the race and very smart.

Today it didn't work out, but on the other days where he managed to get away he is so smart in using his team and the right moments in the race to ride away. A lot of the riders in the top 10 that only follow could've easily been in his position but they don't dare to do what Rolland does.

Uran to drop off the podium tomorrow.

Overall Forecast after tomorrow.

1) Quintana
2) Pozzovivo
3) Rolland or Aru as I don't know how strong Aru is at MTT?

Uran will do a heck of a TT. He lost his jersey trou tactical mistakes, not only on the Stelvio. He is still the 2nd strongest.
You heared it here first:
Quintana and Uran will cement their spots... From 3rd to 8th it´s up for grabs. Evans will finish this Giro 9th.
