I'm assuming he will pull a Wiggo, stop riding and get so angry he tosses his bike on the 13-14% section. Thereafter, he closes his psychotic break by climbing up the leg of a tifosi like a Koala bear at which point he starts munching away.

Looking at the GC and the remaining stages, I'd say that barring accident, illness, or other untoward circumstance, the top ten is set. There'll be some shuffling in the exact order, of course.

Something somebody said upthread here (I think it was in this thread) about the fading of the USA and Great Britain in this Giro made me curious about the international flavor of the peloton, which seems vibrant and healthy to look at the standings.

Thirty nations started with riders in this year's edition, and twenty-six nations still had riders at the end of today. Those countries without any participants left each started with only one rider present. They were:
