Aru is already closer to winning a GT than Gesink ever has been and its his second ever GT

Gesink was challenging Valverde for the Vuelta win at age 22 until he crashed and had to finish the Vuelta with a big hole in his knee.
Gesink was a HUGE talent, but he only got worse some how.

I think Aru might've been a bit faster on the climb as a whole, I think Quintana was quicker in the first sector.

Well, withoug Stelviogate we'd have a 3way fight for pink on the 20th stage on arguably the toughest climb in GT cycling. So yeah, i'm really happy that's not happening
