Hahhaha broken leg my ****

It was reported he already started training 5 days after incident

He broke **** all. Plaza and Gesink broke legs. Didn't ride for 4/5 months on. Yet Alberto rafter 5 days..
Yes please believe this delusion..

I see you're mad because Froome is struggling against an injured Contador. :D

That joke is getting old. Quintana might want to actually outclimb Froome and Contador at least once on important climbs before he is even in the conversation. Outclimbing a Contador that gets outclimbed by Kreuzinger doesn't count, nor Froome when he leads by a million hours and doesn't have to respond.

Quintana beat both Froome and Contador on stage 20 of the Tour last year. That said, I agree that Quintana is not yet at Froome and Contador level. It's close, but not quite.

How much time does Froome have to make up today to be realistic chance of winning the Vuelta tomorrow? That is without Contador crashing or having a mechanical during the TT.

1 minute 20 seconds

According to Spanish TV bike reporter, the first hour was really hard in a difficult profile with narrow ways. Peloton was divided in 4 pieces with the main riders of the GC in the first one.

If neither are fully fit, then how does today's stage help you figure out how they would compare when both are fully fit?
Much like results preceding the tour help one guess who the stronger rider will be at the tour.

I'm not exactly sure how Froome isn't "fully fit".

Poor choice of words on my part: I meant full fit and at their peak.

Basically, my question is equivalent to who you believe will be the best climber come the 2015 Tour, and how Froome dropping Contador today would affect your belief, if at all.

And it wasn't even "training 5 days after [the] incident" it was 15 days after which was after his wound was re-opened, please double check your sources before trying to argue with something that isn't even true

If Froome drops Contador today, what are everyone's views on who the best climber in the world is when fully fit?

Thing is that Contador already dropped him monday so.
He left the Tour 5 stages later than Froome, had a worse injury than Froome and therefore had less time to prepare for this Vuelta than Froome.
And still, he's been clearly better.

Agree, Quintana is great climber, certainly better than Nibali, yet overhyped for the moment.

Yup, agreed. Although if Froome manages to beat AC by 1 minute today, he might be able to beat him by 18 seconds tomorrow.

so he got to drop contador 1.10 minutes? .. it will be interesting to see where he would attack to gain that time. Thursday 2km - 20 sec. contador 800m - 15 sec. So Froome will attack around 5-6km?

Looks like Aru has big plans today. Valverde will be worried.

Well, not really i guess. I will be extremely wondered if Aru even get past Purito in GC.
