Both can't be true. It can't be both pointless (only dropped 3 people) and have a point at the same time.

We need a consistent message from the moaners.
What made it pointless is that he stopped.

Definite bit of handlebar chewing from Ryder.

Then again, this is steep, and he's noticeably taller and larger than the other contenders. Hunching right over is probably good for him, given his somewhat awkward style and where his centre of gravity will be relative to that of, say, Pozzovivo or Purito.

Would love someone using old Kelme-tactics of sending domestiques all over the road in front and use them as an attack launching pads... But that seems to be yesteryear :(

Also, people like Gadret, Nieve etc. should probably try to make a deal where they attack 1st, try to gain a minute and then wait for big gun to leap up for co-operation. But apparently not any creative attacking in Mortirolo...

Makes sense. Thanks.

Was Hesjedal's only bad day after he had a big day the day before? (Pays. Could be vulnerable today.)
That's right. But he didn't look too good on stage 8 either.

Again, how about it was a half-arsed effort and not a real, sustained attack?

Surely Nieve or even Pozzovivo till attack on that concrete stretch that goes up to 22%... surely

On a side-note. Why do cry-babies still bother?
