Not a great ride from a Contador like climber Vande Velde? Are kidding us, right?

it would be a good ride if he wasn't losing time or was just losing a few k, he is losing minutes tho

Liquigas was in front every single stage and today, when it make sense to Caruso to save Basso's podium... nop.

a podium is irrelevant for a GT winner

Lovely procession going on in the maglia rosa group. Hesjedal is headed to his coronation.

What?

He should have been off the front ages ago. The other favourites would have bitten to save their places.

I cannot believe this is happening. How long has it been since a Belgian podium in a GT? :p

He's not going for the podium.
He's going for the pink.

I think Purito will attack on the ramps (1km of 10.7%, 1km of 12.1%) about 2.5km from the finish, but what will it accomplish? Has he even got the legs for it?

Steady on Gents. Flems are mortal too. He will blow.

Not so sure. He trains on this climb all the time. Most likely he knows how to pace himself properly here.

Would be great justice if a monster attack like this will take it all, with the rest of the GC men putting each other to sleep for 3 weeks.
