It looks like they have recorded a gap between WVA and Roglič, but I don't understand why he was sprinting like that for 11th place.

MVDP looks like a giant in that small bunch. Quite impressive to be there.
But he was cooked in the end and maybe he made som tactical errors, but it would have been hard to win anyway, Pog was just fresher.

Vinge looks quite good, impressive to follow Pog's attack as long as he did.

Would have been a bad idea for Pog to go alone after the climb. He would have expended a lot of effort and likely lost the stage. As it is, he saved his matches and won, though he looked understandably exhausted at the finish.

I was a bit surprised that Jonas was so strong on the punchy climbs. He looks great, so far.

Vingegaard spent too much time in the finale looking for WvA, I’d argue he and Jorgenson could have taken turns going to take the win, as everyone else was alone.

He needs to be less of a “team guy” sometimes.

Group split on the descent. Gall and Lipowitz ended up on the wrong side of the split.

Neither, he was right behind the gap that opened on the flat, then ate too much wind and lost more on the climb.

Van der poel really should have hit the brakes out of spite after he realized that he wouldn't win, so that a gap opens and Pogacar has to ride the TT in yellow.

Does he have to use the KOM?

Pog superb today. Vingo looks much stronger than at the Dauphine, as does Remco. Great to see VdP in the mix at the Tour finally. Wish Roglic and WvA were up there at the front as well.

Jonas was more than able to keep up in these short punchy climbs at Dauphine as well - he's def improved his punch.

It's the longer Alpine climbs where Pog took him out by the root.

We wont see if Jonas has closed that gap until the 2nd week.

It looked like he was dropped in the downhill before the last hill. He was leading the chase there.

Vingegaard also looked impressive last year on San Luca and we know how that Tour ended. Not possible to make conclusions about Jonas from a stage like this.

Jonas a bit on the rivet there for a minute, but fought back...though unfortunately, I think I can see a future where he doesn't battle back to Pog's wheel.

Pelizarri and Lipowitz were consistently good this year. I thnik Lipo also can go for a Top 10 here with that much climbing in the last week.

The "stars" and new signings were pretty awful all year. Most of them have a long contract - the team will be bad for a few years (in relation to their budget)

What? I don't think he thought of Van Aert at any moment in the final. He should have cooperated with Pogi though, would have cost him less bonus seconds, but that's hindsight.
