For teams that realistically don't have a chance to win stages, I'd think the break would be the major goal for the Tour. Of course, it can be really tough to get into a successful break, and the speed of peloton these day ensures that very few will make it. Still, keeping the sponsors happy means another year with a team.

He was chillin' in the back a lot in the Giro till he crashed out, hopefully he'll fare better at the Tour.
Honestly I can't even remember when his crashes happened, I just remember it seemed like he had little interest in the race in general. It was something I just wasn't used to seeing from him at any rate.
Things are kind of flat in western New York, but Niagara Falls is still a pretty waterfall.

Never had a chance to visit but Niagara Falls are/were just gorgeous! (Very nicely captured on film in Niagara, the movie with Marilyn Monroe.)
