It's weird, I'm pretty sure one of the reasons Jonas was rubbish in the TT is his aggressiveness so far on terrain that does not suit him. I love he is racing like Pog, but I don't think he can keep it up on these classic types stages.
Visma can bust a gut here if they like, but all that will achieve is tired riders, a win at the end for pogacar and a fairly annoyed peloton.

Then that's Pog's choice, but his vindictiveness is the poison to the stage so far, not Visma wanting someone in the break who has no shot at the GC.

Visama are keeping this break from going - not Pog or UAE
Yates is acceptable. He is way down on gc and is too small to be much use at a satellite. Previously they were sending risks like Jorgenson or big engines like Wout which create bridging risk.

They are living in 2023. If they hadn't figured out yet that Pog benefits from a harder race more than Jonas they are hopeless.
