Pharmstrong only 45 seconds back, folks. He can catch back on the descent, I'm telling you.

I agree. But he's going to have to burn up some reserves to do so, which won't be good for the Cat 3 and then the final climb.

Sad to see the GC decided by crashes yet again.

Looks like we'll never going to see the match up between AC and Armstrong that we wanted.

I saw it, I'm sorry you missed it. Well, it only lasted about 30 seconds.

Okay, if Wigans hangs until the end today, I will officially never refer to him as "Wigans" again, and will revert to spelling his name properly.

Good to see some big names hanging. Basso still in the front?

What about if Evens gets dropped?

Don't write him off, that's all I'm saying.

When a GC rider looses ground on the first major climb it usually means his form is not good. I think he isn't going to come back on the Morzine-A arrival. And if he doesn't come back on on the decent, I predict he looses over 3 minutes to the other bigs. ;)

In fairness he did crash. That being said even under the best of circumstances I doubt anyone expect Armstrong to be able to put that much time into his competitors at any point, even before this. He doesn't need to lose that much time to be out of the race even if he's much stronger after the rest day.

Okay, the assumption that crashing caused this is just an assumption. Cuddles crashed, and I still see him in the front. I mean, yea, Armstrong's crash was just before the climb and they had to pull him back, but Levi is still there.

It actually could be that he got dropped because he got dropped.

I am betting that Robert the Muppet will not make a forum appearance during this Tour. :)

Everybody who is anybody is still in the contender group.
The Shack and Armstrong will now have to support Leipheimer.
