armstrong time trialed exactly as expected and where he was all season compared to the best - mediocre to solid.

These results, esp. by Frank, make it really interesting for Tour in moutains for the guys behind Bertie. The best competitions is going to be for spots 2 and 3 on the Tour podium. Very, very competitive.

Well, I never would've expected that!
Frank Schleck TT-ing that well?! WTF?!
Great ride from Martin again.
Gesink somehow manages to lose a won race again?! I would have expected him to match Schleck in a TT, but then again, I would never expect Schleck to match Armstrong.
Sorry for Gesink, was really rooting for him.
Fuglsang very good also.

Damn good.

The Frank S. TT'ing think is weird.

Lance can't be 2nd? I am totally confused. Can someone explain the gc to me. morabito is definetly ahead of Uran and gesin now.

I think Armstrong did exactly what we should expect from him, not great, just good... but i can't still cannot believe that Frank only lost a couple of second to Armstrong in 27km... it's mind boggling considering is past TT performance

agreed. i am satisfied armstrong did not improve his tt despite all the hype. he probably overemphasized low body weght for improved climbing but also lost a lot of power. he wont be on the podium in paris.

shame for gesink.
his tt still needs improvement forsure. I'm not surprised though.

He seems to be climbing very well, wonder if his training has maybe taken away from his tt while improving his climbing.

congrats to frank :D

Morabito off the podium too :D

4 seconds ahead of Gesink in 4th though

Morabito had a great race. Nobody expected 4th overall and to climb with the big guns. SStill ahead of your hero. :)
