Conditions on Mt Cenis seem to be good. If weather changes, race will be neutalized for the decent. Keep your fingers crossed.. @giroditalia

How's that gonna work out? Also, no coverage until 15.00? I thought this was transmitted from 13.00 or so? That sucks.

Never want to feel again how I did yesterday! Totally empty. Lucky to have an amazing @opqscyclingteam & some great friends @taylorphinney.

.@MarkCavendish the fact you finished yday's brutality after such an impressive 2 weeks is a testament to what a true champion you are Mark.

I agree with taylor. Many sprinters pull out. Cav keeps fighting.

Moment & Monument

Marco Pantani to come out of the mountain fog and attack the lead group on the final climb only to fade back then into the mists at his monument.

Totally agree, You could see from the podium of stage 13 he had virtually nothing left in his legs. He must really want this points jersey and the chance for another 1 (maybe 2) stage wins in the final week. Should he stay injury free over the next few years he will be remembered as the best sprinter of all time no questions about it, if he isn't already.

Someone is attacking Cav on twitter I think that's why Taylor responded like that :)

What would neutralizing the descent actually mean ? Riders potter down at their own speed and set off at the bottom with the same time gaps ? Would they be allowed to go down in a team car ?

Yes, PLEASE!!!!!!

imo, one would have to neutralize the entire climb (up and down) using a car infront of the peloton for it to work. Lets hope its raced instead.
