Maybe next time he'll learn you don't make friends by stealing KoM points you really don't need.

The way Pirazzi is riding (not working but going for the points) Weening does not have to worry at all...

I also think Pirazzi will struggle a lot in the final week. He has to rely on more bad weather and neutralized climbing for being able to keep the jersey

What's all this BS with flags on the podium btw? I don't remember them from previous GTs - everyone has them.

Trying to make the Giro more international perhaps.

Kangert is nowwhere near the best domestique.

He is riding his own race, Enzo best helper is by far Agnoli. He gives for Nibali everything he has, while Kangert is quietly trying to ride his race.

Remember the first mountain top finish ? Kangert was dropped early, and finished not far behind, while Agnoli made all the work.

Agnoli was also great last year in Liquigas, he is a great team rider.

Yeah, Agnoli was Nibali's best man at his wedding and so you'd expect him to go the extra yard for him. Kangert has done a fair amount of work for Vincenzo as well though

I didn't think he actually took them, thought he braked before the line. Although to be fair the Italians were working him over and making him do all the work.

I remember seeing the official result on the screen and Weening was second. But really I don't care, I just hope to see them both again in the breaks.

In all this sad story I sympathize with the only thing — Col du Galibier. The monumental climb didn't deserve such a shame. It's honored waay more even when it is passed during first 50k of a Tour stage.

Yeh I really rate the climb but I never want to see a Telegraphe-Galibier MTF again (even at 2642m). At least not without 230km and 4000m solid climbing beforehand.

I think it's the matter of riders we had yesterday.
