Lotto Soudal has 2 more stagiaires: Michael Goolaerts & Kevin Deltombe. Both are injured though. Deltombe broke his collarbone at the end of June (will make his comeback later this week) and Goolaerts broke two fingers two days ago.

Jose Luis Rodriguez will be a stagiair before being a real pro with Trek.

AG2R will have 4 guys from their development team as a stagiair: Remy Rochas, Benoit Cosnefroy, Etienne Fabre an Nans Peters (not sure about him, i's possible that he signed a contract for next year and isn't going to be a stagiair).

Yeah, that was my initial thought, but according to PCS he will be a stagiair too. They're probably wrong though.

Sometimes a rider who will sign the following year joins as a stagiaire to get a feel for the team. Owain Doull at Sky is in the same situation as are others probably.

Lolzers, Vaubourzeix is being a stagiaire for a team he already rode for for three years in its earlier iteration before going to the US!

Also, a minor not-quite-correction, Carapaz has been riding for Lizarte for the last few months, which is Abarcá's main feeder team in the Basque-Navarrese scene, just with the option to return to Strongman for selected Colombian and Ecuadorean races if wanted, but since he did well enough to get picked up by Movistar that's kind of gone by the wayside.

No, their contract lasts for 1st August 'til the end of the season. Many if not most stagiaires are not only not retained for the following season, but there is never the intention of signing them permanently. See for instance Tinkoff signing three.

Press guys for Katusha, LottoNL and Astana told me they aren't taking on any this year, but Leon Brouwer from LottoNL said they are "looking for opportunities" so maybe they will take someone.

There's a 28/29 year old stagiaire for Novo Nordisk.

Well yeah obviously but I assumed he meant the team someone is a stagiaire with not Axeon.

I believe that he signed a contract last year starting on 1/8/2016 going through to the end of 2018. They did the same thing with Nico Denz last year.

I saw he was also in the break of the day at the first stage at Burgos .
