Interesting to see how he started to watch cycling in 2015, being a tender age of 11 years old, and also can reference Jalabert 95. Impressive. He had also dwelled into the history with Gianetti and Matxin as well. At just around 15-16... he was all up to speed on this, getting real underground to only watch 2. races or nat races in France. Very interesting. Good stuff.

do you think those local French races are broadcasted up there in Jutland?

He never said he was aware of Jalabert's 1995 exploits at 11, only that he knows about them now.
Nobody said that either, Samu.

There is no suggestion he was aware of Jalabert when being 11, if reading the above sentence.

Whats impressive is that he in a short amount of years getting so advanced in the history and at around 15-16 being interested in only 2. races and nat France races. Im just so amazed. Like I said, wish I was this kid. Could have gone places.

I still don't know why it's that impressive. 10 years is not exactly a short time to famliarise yourself with the sport.

I started following cycling with a closer eye at the time of Operación Puerto, so getting to know a lot about the dirty past/present of the sport may have happened more organically for me than for someone who started watching a decade later, but I still don't find it that unbelievable.

Between 11-21? And just a couple of years in only watching 2. races and nat French race? Knowing a lot about the history already. Ok. Your opinion. Im amazed by that.

I'm not really sure whether "resumed to watching" means he actually watched those races before 2021, or if it only means he decided to no longer watch the bigger races from that point onwards. If he did watch them at 15, then I agree it's noteworthy, especially since he denies being French or Italian himself, but it's not perfectly clear how low level those races he's talking about are.

If he has been watching the Kirschblütenrennen Wels, like I have done a couple of times, then he is probably also clinically insane :D
