Seemingly il Lombardia (the il maestro of monuments) is a foregone conclusion, so there is a bit of exasperation on the forum. But true to forum or form, the forumites have popped thie lsd (limited slip differential) and got creative with such brilliant topics as your favourite rider from each country and which tdf's could HE have won. Peak forum material.

The legendary George Hook had a radio show called The right hook. George was an opinionated bombastic character. A listener challenged him and suggested he should preface every comment with "In my opinion". He did that for 2 weeks straight.
Now if every comment on the forum was prefaced with "In my opinion", there would never be another fight on the forum and we could probably welcome a lot of the rare old characters back to the forum because it has got a bit dull. It's hard to have fun around here but I do my best.
