Gravel sector mostly descent coming up. Would Pidcock try to push it if technical enough?

I do wonder if this might dissuade Pog from riding P-R. Taking the chance of compromising your GT hopes for a race that can end a season, is maybe not the best idea for him.

He should had absolutely wheelsuck Pogacar and let him do all the work. He can't pretend to think he is as strong as pogacar.

Then they could be caught by the chasers, Pogacar doesn't look too strong now. Adrenaline after the crash is waning and the pain is probably bigger.

Isn‘t that true for most lines through corners that lead to a crash? You know, because you usually end up off the road.
Not if you crashed because of too much speed or bad road surface. I don't think there was anything wrong with the line Gilbert took down Menté.
