Fair call. Sometimes the effect of injury isn't fully apparent until days afterwards. e.g. deep tissue bruising. Hopefully he is okay. Immediately after a race the brain is flooded with endorphines and pain isn't so noticeable.

Some guy makes an honest mistake and we jump all over it .

Hopefully Pogacar can make 2025 the best ever even on PCS ranking. He has certainly started off 2025 where he left off in 2024.

The thing with that kind of injuries is that even your sleep is affected and so your recovery.
Yes he will be able to return to normal training probably in 3-4 days. But without having good sleep he will need more to restore himself completely.
Probably a good 10 days.

Hard to see why having an excellent recent run makes a win unbelievable (beyond even highly unlikely).
