MSR is only great because of Pogi and other people are trying to convince me, it is great no matter what... dellusional
He will pay for this race at FlandersMSR is only great because of Pogi and other people are trying to convince me, it is great no matter what... dellusional
He tried to surprise them, which was not a bad attempt. He wasnt beating any of these on acceleration and he got MVDP to sprint from far out.Pogi messed up his sprint, not that he had a chance anyway. You have to stay on MVDP's wheel. Or he should've attacked at like 600 to go.
Pogi looked a bit uncomfortable on the bike right before the poggio. He normally isn’t shaking out his legs and standing up.one man missing on cipressa, pog is a monster, don't be fooled by the victory of mvdp, pogi was way stronger, I have no idea how he could do all those efforts with his nose in the wind and that wheel sucker behind him. I'm quite convinced that the crash in sb took that 0.5% out of him that today would have come in handy, you could see that in the last part of poggio he was on the limit. I have already heard comments that mvdp was stronger today, which is not the case, you have no idea what it means to have your nose in the wind for half cipressa and almost all the poggio with those shallow gradients and high speed
I think so, now prob 10% chance for Roubaix :/So does this make Roubaix participation more or less likely?
Still up in the air. I guess he wants to see how the upcoming race goes first. So does this make Roubaix participation more or less likely?
They say less because of team politicsSo does this make Roubaix participation more or less likely?
Exactly, it is obvious Pogacar was stronger. Draft is massive there and MVP didn't help Pogacar at all.one man missing on cipressa, pog is a monster, don't be fooled by the victory of mvdp, pogi was way stronger, I have no idea how he could do all those efforts with his nose in the wind and that wheel sucker behind him. Like I said, they don't need a lot of climbers. They just need powerhorses!Del Torro completely useless. Why were you in this race, my friend?
I think the race was lost for him when Van der Poel was still in his wheel halfway the Poggio. There's basically nothing to do from there tactically. He's the strongest in the race, yet at the same time he cannot brute force a win because he's not explosive enough.Another tactical error was driving downhill after the poggio. If he would have let ganna on ganna might have put the necessary pressure on mvp on the flat.
Yeah, what it showed is... you dont really need three climbers.Like I said, they don't need a lot of climbers. They just need powerhorses!
Vermeersch was the missing teammate today. They just need Wellens and Narvaez to kill Cipressa.
And drafting plays a big part on Poggio.I think the race was lost for him when Van der Poel was still in his wheel halfway the Poggio. There's basically nothing to do from there tactically.

Pogacar always had a overrated sprint, even Vingegaard beat him in a sprint during the Tour France, and Vingegaard is probably one of the worst sprinters in the world.I think the race was lost for him when Van der Poel was still in his wheel halfway the Poggio. I also think his sprint got found out today. Like, Ganna has about 20s when they come back to recover from going fully on the limit and he still beats Pogacar in a long sprint.
Del Torro completely useless. Why were you in this race, my friend?
Paradigms have shifted. Vingegaard has an okay sprint for a 58kg climber, and in the days of Contador and Froome he would be considered to have a decent finish on him for a top climber.Pogacar always had a overrated sprint, even Vingegaard beat him in a sprint during the Tour France, and Vingegaard is probably one of the worst sprinters in the world.
MVDP made a great sprint, not really a "smart" sprint. Strong sprint.Pocagar did a great race until the sprint, and got beaten by a smarter rider.
Watch the overhead and see how he reacts to Pocagar's positioningMVDP made a great sprint, not really a "smart" sprint. Strong sprint.
