I'm curious to see his explosiveness. There isn't any plsce in the world better to see that other than the Mur de Huy

He might just set an extreme tempo like he did on La Redoute last year and the others will drop like flies. I believe Pog wants a hard tempo on Huy so that a guy like Nys will struggle. A "soft" tempo and a explosion last 200 meter might be risky against someone like Nys.

In the Jebel Jais sprint, he showed great punch.
There were good punchers, and he won easily.
Although he was fresh then and now he´s more exhausted

I think only Nys can win him.
Remco will want to break the race. After PR, Pogacar will conform for the sprint like in 2023; Remco will have to be the one attacking this time. He should just limit himself to chasing; he doesn't need any more fatigue before Liège.

Lidl Trek have a deadly duo. I'm curious to see what they will do.

A question for Pog's fans.
Do you remember the race or moment when you became a supporter?
For me it was the stage in Andorra in the 2019 Vuelta when he dropped Soler and Quintana.
Perhaps counterintuitively, I became a fan the second Jonas dropped him on Granon in 2022. I'd been desperate for Jumbo to drop him up to that point, but there was something about that image of him battling away up the climb, pale faced and jersey unzipped, that made me a fan.

What do we think of Remco's comments after Amstel? It seems he is saying UAE caused a big crash and that he would have won if he wasn't involved. Also, UAE attacked after the crash. At least, this is what I am reading.

Pogacar has denied that they did that.
And Alaphilippe's attack took place many kilometers later.

Pogacar crashed in PR, and the race continued. But in any case, he´s said that's not true. That they didn't attack, taking advantage of the crash.

Regarding him winning?
He's not taking into account that Pogacar did more kilometers solo with wind, while Remco spent some kilometers with Van Wilder's help and others with Skjelmose. Perhaps in another scenario, Pogacar wouldn't have done so many kilometers alone.
Aside from that, he's not taking into account whether Skjelmose would´ve won anyway.
He shouldn´t underestimate Skjelmose's victory.

UAE was already putting a hard tempo before the crash. I don't know what was the problem.
When Alaphilippe attacked, Remco had been riding in the group for many kilometers.
It wasn't as decisive as in the PR, and Pogacar congratulated the winner in PR and Amstel.
Skjelmose won, no Pogacar, so I think his victory should be respected.

Remco is speculating. If Remco had started with them Alaphilippe's attack, perhaps Pogacar wouldn't have suffered such a severe collapse. If he weren't alone, perhaps he wouldn't have cooked like that.
We'll never know; every race circumstance changes.

In any case, when Alaphilippe attacked, Remco was in the group, and Pogacar never attacked to take advantage of Remco's fall.
He has denied this.

I think the crash happened before the feed started?
If so, we have no way of knowing whether they put a gard tempo or not.
We can believe different sources (Evenepoel or Pogacar) but everyone will say what suits him best.
Pogacar is coming off a confrontation against VDP in PR.
Does he really need doing that and to lie when he's coming off the most unfavorable races for him?

In the 2020 Tour, Pogacar crashed before the schelons.
The rivals didn´t wait for him, and hi lost over than a minute.

It's a race scenario, but nothing like that happened in this one. When Alaphilippe attacked, everyone was in the group.
The rider who wasn't afraid to take on VDP in Roubaix is saying that's not true; he didn't take advantage of a crash.

LBL will give us a clear picture about Remco's level against Pogacar. I hope he doesn't crash again.

I have a mix of feelings for tomorrow. We will have rain which is good for Pogacar, however it will increase the risk of crashes.
Pogacar is jinxed with Liège. One year his mother-in-law died, and the next he broke his wrist.

Let's hope he doesn't miss Liège this year due to a crash in FW. But above all, thinking about the Tour.
Although he's won two Liège , he seems to have a curse hanging over him in that race.

And you forgot LBL 2020 where he was in prime position to win and didn't even get the opportunity to fight for the win due to Alaphilippe.

Let me do a reverse jinx right now.

Pogi will crash in FW or LBL and because of that his preparation for the TdF will be compromised and he will only be able to do the Vuelta in good shape. Mark my words.
