I think this is recency bias - Vingegaard had that awful crash last year, then a ropey start to 2025. But he knows how to peak for the Tour. I just don't believe there is any chance he will be beaten by Jorgensen, of all people. He'll be fighting with Pogacar for the win, I'm pretty sure.
Matteo is so overrated as a climber. He is good but he is not even in a second tier let alone being close to Jonas.

I think the opposite. He will race the Vuelta if he doesn't win the Tour.
it's possible, I don't see it but it's possible. I think that if he loses the tour because vingegaard is stronger (so not because of crashes or bad luck) he will not go to vuelta because he would risk loosing also there while compromising his chances for the WC

Vuelta is way more suited to Pogacar. There is a zero chance he loses the Vuelta (unless Vingegaard shows a much higher level in the Tour).

In Vuelta almost every stage is MTF and if he will be competing with Vinigo it will be the fight of attrition. I don"t really think that suits Pogi especially it's hard to belive that he will skip WC.

Pogacar is unbeatable in 20 minutes climbs when he is in top shape. He already said they are his favorite climbs. I can't even imagine what he will do in Peyragudes, I think we are not prepared for a 7,5 w/kg performance.

That would be great, but let's be cautious, it would mean he made another step compared to TDF 2024

It is bias based on recency. How best to guess at form than most recent results. As for Jorgensen "beating" Jonas it would shortsighted for JV not to have a Plan B based on who is in best contention at a key moment, say week 3. Credentials alone make it a 2 rider race but credentials are always past in cycling. One spoiled meal or slippery curve changes key days.

Stage 7 will be very interesting and very dangerous for Pogacar. I think he will be in yellow but Visma will destroy everyone in stage 7 so Pogacar will be alone with more than 50 km to the finish.
UAE has some troops. Tadej doesn't ride with naked support so factor that in. There are also young free agents that'll aid or hinder anyone on the wrong side of separations. Dauphine' reveals future talents every year. Doesn't make them Tour contenders but we'll find out alot next week.

My biggest memory of the Dauphine last year was the first sighting of GC Gee with 3rd place and Lazkano hauling his classics ass up all the climbs to finish in the top ten.

If he is healthy, doesn't have any issues or crashes and still doesn't win the Dauphine it will be a huge blow for his confidence for July.
For Jonas a loss would mean nothing. He has already won this race and he is just doing the hard miles for the Tour.
The difference is that Pogacar wants to be remembered as the real GOAT when he retires so he will not tolerate a loss.
Not sure about that. If Pog drops Vinge on every mountain stage an the tt by quite a margin it will affect him.
Maybe a seated attack (muy style) to burry the fishermans dreams in june already.

The entire Visma entourage's obsession with Pogacar is regrettable.

1. Pogacar congratulated Ayuso on her victory. He's lying.

2. It seems that Pogacar provoked the Siena crash, and Pogacar brought wasps to the Giro. LOL

I said, these people don't care about Ayuso at all; they're using him as a weapon against Pogacar. That's very unfortunate.

They just won the Giro, and Pogacar wasn't even there. They can't enjoy it without remembering and criticizing him.

They are shitting themselves. But it's coming for them anyway.
Or maybe Dekker is still on some clinical stuff

Does Dekker have any role in Visma?

Some ex riders are really making these stupid takes just to be relevant. Dekker is a prime example of an early peaker that necer delivered what people expect from him. In this case, an ex rabobank rider trying to attack Pogacar for absolutely no reason.

What an extremely bad take on the interview. He calls Pogacar a bully and you are offended so misquote him

When you see Tadej severely kick everyone's a*s; it feels like you've been bullied. They may carry some PTSD from exposure to him and their projection to the Dauphine and beyond. It's too early for everyone to be so off the wall certain about any of these guys.....except Ayuso for the Tour.
