Pogi looked much more comfortable today than he did on Ventoux, and Vingegaard seemed noticeably weaker. All that talk about Jonas recovering better and thriving on longer, harder stages feels like a distant memory now. Hopefully, Pogi is just pacing himself and saving energy for what could be the greatest season of his career and arguably best season ever by any rider: Strade, Flanders, LBL, Tour, Vuelta, Worlds, and Il Lombardia.

I saw a tweet that at the moment, it is becoming a bit likely that Pogi isn’t going to go to the Vuelta but a final decision will be made after the Tour.

He could have easily put another minute on Vingo if we would have wanted today judging by how easily he rode away at the end , he is really conserving energy and avoiding going too deep again for some reason.

Its quite disappointing to be honest. Since the route was announced majority of pog fans were waiting all year for this tour to witness greatness & epic wins on ventoux & col de la loze but instead he gave us some s*** shows😞
