Apparently the Visma car brake checked Pog before the start of the stage.
They are desperate. They wanted to crash out Pog in the descent today (which is game on of course).

I really think the absence of Almeida is costing Pogačar a couple of stage wins more in this Tour. Still, he is only 3 stages away from reaching the real goal, winning a 4th Tour.
Shows the expectation he has set if people are genuinely disappointed. He has ridden the Alps smart when you have a 4 minute buffer. His team also misses the final piece of jigsaw in the mountains and he has still.dominated the Tour. One more mountain stage to survive and practically the Tour is his

I hope Pogacar's decision not to go is not due to Matxin's pressure for Ayuso to stay in the UAE.
It seems like too much of a coincidence to me that news comes out that Ayuso wants to leave the UAE and suddenly they include him in the Vuelta team.
Pogacar can't be giving up the Vuelta for anyone.

I had nothing against Ayuso, but I didn't like this Vuelta thing at all. It seems like too much of a coincidence that Ayuso leaked to the press that he wants to leave, and now they're including him in the Vuelta, when they had said he wouldn't go even if Pogacar didn't.
And Pogacar hinted at the Dauphiné that he would go, but now he doesn't. The team has convinced him, and it's a mistake because the next two world championships also suit him.

You are talking about some random rumours. Nothing has been said about Ayuso for the Vuelta.

If pogi wants the vuelta he’ll get it. I doubt Ayuso factors at all in the first line of decision making
