Just another race they felt the need to make harder so it has less possible outcomesBasically the Cauberg circuit then. Especially with the false flat after that.
But it's hard to follow Pogacar in this type of hills. They only added 250 meters at 6% to the end of Côte de la Montagne, taking out the other hills, right?(and of course putting it closer to the finish) I don‘t think that‘s a game changer.
No comp for Pog. It’s a shameBut it's hard to follow Pogacar in this type of hills.
His competition in this course is probably only MVPNo comp for Pog. It’s a shame
Taking the other hills out I think makes it overall less tiring I think, but putting it closer to the finish does make it easier to win. They only added 250 meters at 6% to the end of Côte de la Montagne, taking out the other hills, right?(and of course putting it closer to the finish) I don‘t think that‘s a game changer.
This. A strong leadout and Pogacar is gone.Taking the other hills out I think makes it overall less tiring I think, but putting it closer to the finish does make it easier to win.
Eddy would have done the giro tour vuelta triple in this era easyFor curiosity I found Pogacar has only 43 race days this season and if he wins every race until the end of the season, it will be his most prolific season and very close to Merckx's best season (ratio of wins)- 48%.
I think Pogacar can beat this record one day.
Edit: Nevermind, the record is from Maertens in 1977. 44 wins in 84 race days - 52%.
Pogacar would need to reach 30 wins in a season, impossible.
Eddy would have done the giro tour vuelta triple in this era easy
What's wrong with you? In any moment I mentioned Giro-Tour- Vuelta triple.Eddy would have done the giro tour vuelta triple in this era easy
In 40km of effort on stage 21, Pogacar competing 21 days and Van Aert rested for several stages.Didn't WVA just cook Pog on a similar climb in the Tour?

Those examples show they (a lot of "human" riders) really fear racing with Pogacar. They are defeated even before the start of the race. Maybe fear is not the best word but they are resigned for sure when they see the rainbow jersey on the startlist.
There are many more examples to be honest.
I thought you made your own thread about this topic. Why are you still writing about it here? I am also not bothering WVA thread (similar talent as Eddy) fans with Pogi.Eddy would have done the giro tour vuelta triple in this era easy

But it's obvious Pogacar can compete in PR and MSR. MVP can't, for that reason most people consider Pogacar the best classics rider.Van Der Poel in Strade Bianche or Liege.
They justify it because it's difficult for him to win.
Pogacar also has it difficult to win San Remo and Roubaix, but he doesn't stop trying.
You talked about the triple for absolutely no reason though.I was replying to a post that compared some results with Merckx…
You were talking about log beating Merckx record. You talk about pogs dominance a lot. You say it’s harder in this day. I mentioned the triple because Merckx would have done that already with three tours spread across the season like nowYou talked about the triple for absolutely no reason though.
I was talking about win ratio in a season. In fact I said Freddy was the record holder because of his 1977 season. You were talking about log beating Merckx record. VDP would be competitive at Strade Bianche on this course, but he doesn't want to go because he's not such a favorite. It would be like Pogacar giving up on going to Sanremo because he'll never be the favorite because his sprint speed is inferior to VDP's.But it's obvious Pogacar can compete in PR and MSR. MVP can't, for that reason most people consider Pogacar the best classics rider.
No, Pogacar is still much closer to win against MvDP at MSR than MvDP against Tadej at Strade. If MvDP doesn't compete at MSR, Tadej likely wins it already on Cipressa, MvDP on the other side would still have problem with at least 10 guys.VDP would be competitive at Strade Bianche on this course, but he doesn't want to go because he's not such a favorite. It would be like Pogacar giving up on going to Sanremo because he'll never be the favorite because his sprint speed is inferior to VDP's.
I don't think MVP has a chance against Pogacar (2024-2025l even in the old route.VDP would be competitive at Strade Bianche on this course, but he doesn't want to go because he's not such a favorite.
