I dont believe one can say that or that I can agree with that.What I take from this edition is Pogacar would demolish MVP last year if he was well positioned like MVP. This year MVP wasn't in the front and was cooked.
The main difference was Pog just riding the climbs in higher sustained pace for longer, rather than doing 5-6 accelerations imo. He gassed himself doing that last year. It was less stop and go now.
His descending and making them hard after each corner was a difference as well.
There are many things that were different imo.
