In Paris-Roubaix there are many cars between sectors; Van Aert himself was behind cars after his puncture.
But From the images taken from the helicopter, it didn't seem like Pogacar was behind the cars.

By the way, Van Aert finished third in Milano-San Remo because Visma riders followed Visma car after the accident, and nobody said anything...

Decathlon is gonna be worse than Visma. They already lying through the teeth. :joycat:
his interview is ridiculous and completely false. I have rewatched pogacar's chase, in the first KMs he is alone and he has no motorbike in front of him, while the main group clearly has one. Then when pollitt and morgado help him there's a moto in front of their group but it's at a big distance, completely normal situation. Finally pogacar has to close the last part of the gap by himself and again there's not a single motorbike in front of him because the main group is not far enough.
If I were a rider I would be ashamed of myself after giving such a stupid interview

The stupidest thing I noticed about the interview was claiming the group went 15km/h faster because of the "wall of motorbikes"

Pogacar continues an incredible streak of 10 consecutive monument podiums (7 victories, 2 runner-ups, one 3rd place), which includes:
1) two victories in Lombardy
2) two victories in Liege
3) two victories in Flandres
4) a victory and a 3rd in San Remo
5) two runner-ups in Roubaix

On top of that two gold medals in WC.

If Seixas pans out to his potential or repeatedly gets beaten by Pogacar, everyone will start to see how insufferable the French team/fans are. The only thing that have held back their mouths is the lack of a French GT winner for decades.

Just looking ahead to Romandie

He could genuinely win all stages.
- Stage 1 is 3 km and has an 800 m climb at like 7%.
- The main climb on stage 2 is 9 km at almost 10%..
- Stages 3 and 4 might be for the likes of Godon but he can still be in the mix (The main climb on stage 4 is "only" 6%).
- The last climb on stage 5 is 8 km at 8%.
- Stage 6 is a summit finish.

I think he'll be winning 3 stages minimum.

But he won't. I'm thrilled to see his performance in the prologue. I hope he can win there.

I am very curious to see his level on long climbs, in an interview from prieto they say that this year ha started training for climbing later than in other seasons to be more ready for the classics, so let's see his level on long cimbs. Skipping amstel and fleche is a good thing because he can start preparing for the tour just after PR

You won't see his level. He should be winning this easily even at 90%, I seriously doubt he'll go all out on any climb

This is what I have been saying for years. We can't see Pogacar's level until he races against Vingegaard. There is really no point because he is doing "sunday rides" 1 minute ahead of everyone.

He will go all out on the monster climb on stage 2.
It's really hard and perfect for a test.
It's also 35 kms from the finish so he will want to create a solid gap.
On the other stages he can ride and climb with reserves.

More time to recover before LBL and he will use Romandie to warm up for the TdF. Stage 1 will be good to see his climbing level and probably we will see him climb at 1900-2000 m/h for 26'

But does it make sense to go a bloc with so much flat remaining afterwards? If attacks on stage 2 it will also be with some reserves left, he'll easily distance everybody on this climb anyway. I'm not even sure he will attack on that stage at all.

Seixas also attacked with 26 kms to go and put 58 secs on Lipowitz on the climb.
Time gaps are relative but his numbers will give some indication how Pog's doing.

The differences between races are relative. Each race has its own context and its own level of exertion.

Besides, more than a month will have passed.
