You said Pog didnt push it corners and so on.

He clearly did today since he was always in position and in the front. He would otherwise kept losing positions. You said the "best in the world" on a technical course, he obviously could hang with them judging by the result. As I would think that would probably be someone like MVDP, who won. Not just because it was technichal course, but because he was strongest. That what mattered most in the end. Pog didnt lose this race because he wasnt pushing it in the corners or hasnt since his crash.

Again, how is your interpretation so off.

I will see myself out. You haven´t adressed anything I stated in the last hour. Feel free to argue with yourself for the rest of the evening.

It was pretty much over when you stopped discussing and went to the insults instead. Have a good night.

I have never seen Pogacar so dead as in the interview after the race.
This year, every race he started he raced it with a "win or die" mentality. As much as I enjoy his style, I think he needs to calm down a bit. Mathieu used to race like this too but he had to learn to race a bit different in the past couple of years.

It's hard to know how anyone could save energy as long as Bettiol looked threatening. Putting out that much effort collectively; that late in the race could tap anyone as they all looked cooked at the finish. MvP had a much more regulated runup to the race than the other top 10 riders. He spent most of the Tour either leading out the victorious sprinter or doing intervals/recovery workouts. Wout had time off but it's apparent that Pederson, Tadej, Bettiol and most of the next group had raced an honest Tour, IMO.

How many riders for the road race have made the podium in a TdF, World Championship and Olympic Games in their career?

Dumoulin, Froome, Wiggins, Roglic, Ullrich, Indurain all did it, and that's just from the top of my head. Sure there's more.

Not many without ITT, I guess. Vino too if ITT counts.

Without ITT Samuel Sanchez was close, but only finished fourth in the WCRR

Pog looked the most drained out of any of the top finishers from all the post race interviews. I’ve never seen him like that.

The itt doesn’t count. So can a mod erase those posts that referenced the most insignificant itt podiums.
Nibali. Ok, he didn’t do it, but he was close.

Should check to make sure, but I guess his broze is the first medal in a RR WC since Andrej Hauptman also won bronze in Lisbon 2001?

Look at Chris Auld's photo of MvP finishing, hands on top of his head. He used it all, too.
Hands on top of the head are his emotions coming out and it looked like he was about to cry tears of joy. That’s not someone saying “oh my god that was the hardest race ever”, it was “oh my god I won”.
