Thought Jesus that a bit risqué isn't it when he did the celebration but then remembered he would've been 6 and likely never saw it, felt old.

Another stage where he put the cruise control. He wasn't even forcing in the last 500m
Are you still worried he’s done too much to recover for the TdF? I guess he will also aim to win the Grappa stage.

It was predicted by many that the weak competition makes the double more likely. Now we have shortened stages in which was already a less demanding Giro parcours. At this point I’d say Pogacar is on track. But it will still be a stretch to see him destroy the likes of a fresh Roglic at the TdF but we live in hope ;)

It’s kind of ludicrous how far superior he is to the rest of this GC field that every time he has attacked on an actual mountain he has immediately opened a gap that was never closed.

If Martínez has an off day tomorrow or Grappa on Saturday then Pogi will win by 10 minutes without even needing to put in another real effort.
It's been like that for years against 2nd tier contenders

Martinez doesn't need to have an off day. If Pogacar wants, he will put 3 minutes on Grappa. Martinez will just follow Thomas.

Will he ride the ORR ? The parcours suits him better than MSR and dare I say almost as well as the WRR. He may be a bit tired by then though.
Yes. But no, the ORR route doesn't suit him as much as the WCRR route. It's pretty much one cobbled climb to Montmartre that will decide the race and it's only around 1 km long at around 6%. That's too short for Pog to get MVDP in trouble, imo.

I think his best chance of winning is attacking with Remco from afar and getting a gap to the others. Then hope that the limited domestiques per nation will make it hard to catch them. Then outsprint Remco to the line.
