So you are saying there hasnt been any editions like this one before?

The pace was high on almost every stage, thats why it was the fastest = hard.

The other argument is also very poor since neither of the other faced any competition at all. It is just a poor attempt to diminish and to blatantly hate/troll. It is warranted to be called out for it.
I am a massive Pogacar fan and hoping for the double so I am not saying it was easier to slight him.

Objectively it was an easier route than average but to be fair the peloton did attack the route in terms of speeds by routinely being ahead of the fastest projected times the race organisers.

It was the fastest Giro because it didn't have much mountain accumulation. And when the hard parts came, the efforts were chosen by him, and not by his rivals. If he has to rest from something, I think it's more from the entire race protocol...

Not sure about previous editions but this Giro had hugely less climbing compared to even last year. The shortened stage also added to the average speed and diminished the volume of climbing.

2024 also definitely had a lower level of competition.

It was fastest because of way less climbing on most stages there was a big fight to get in the early break and of course UAE had to work super hard to keep Pog within launch range of the breaks.

Nevertheless he will stop one week. It's never a good preparation stop training one week when the Tour starts in 4 weeks.

Except that Pogacar, unlike your fave, has been in a very good form for some (long) time and just ridden a GT. One week of break is to rest mentally and physically (BTW maybe you don't know but it's normal that after extensive training periods rest days follow and are important part of building process). The next training block (coupled with rests) is to fine-tune his engine further and to prolong period of good form. Not to build his form from scratch. Time will tell what will be the result.

Let's assume that he and his coach are going to do the best preparation possible, it makes no sense to say that it is not good to stop for a week if they have all the data.

By the way, today he was already testing himself at Col de la Madone...

my man is at the same time arguing, pog will be tired week 3 and its bad to stop for a week.he just rode giro, lmao.
He tries to denigrate Pogi all the time. I don't understand why he says things like "it's never good to stop one week" when he doesn't have a clue about training compared to Pogacar's trainer. He was probably doing recovery rides during this week and will start his altitude camp sooner than later.

Pog: " Yates will be my wingman, Ayuso & Almeida are super domestiques for the mountains. Soler & Sivakov can support me both on the flat and in the mountains. And then we have Politt & Wellens, it scares me a bit!"
Vingegaard will be ready. After his hospital release, he started riding on the bike immediately. If he's comfortable, he'll be able to start in a good shape. He has to reach his race weight, but I don't think that's a problem. It's a tough start in Italy. I have to think about our approach.
The final weekend is brutal. Evenepoel will go all-in in the opening weekend, Roglic will play the waiting game and strike in the final weekend."
One helluva tdf coming.
