Several days ago Gianetti said that he would be in the concentration until 4-5 days before the Tour, it may have been the plan from the beginning but the media did not know 100% of the information.

Maxtin upbeat about the team and Pogacar saying he wasn't tired after the Giro and that there's absolutely nothing negative. He also stays at altitude until Monday (three days longer than was stated before), which is probably good news regarding his post-Giro recovery and form.

The GOAT GOAT GOAT.

Read somewhere their getting Jhonathan Narvaez? He might be a huge piece for Pogacar in MSR if its even doable with how easy the ''climb'' is.
Is it just rumours? Great pickup for Pogacar if its true he can be the last pull maby with Wellens before Pogacar launch at Poggio, Narvaez skills should suit that.

Those dorks running the team will keep selecting climbers over Bjerg and Politt for MSR anyway...

Agree those better fit with Wellens and Narvaez if hes coming? He just need someone to pull for crazy watt, punchy for a decent time like I think Narvaez may be able to do so everyone is on their limit before he goes thermonuclear as the drag from sitting on the wheel is huge on that declines/speed.

The mind games continue with ... grub! (and having 15 chefs!)

In 2020 and 2021 Pogacar won the Tour, in 2022 and 2023 the title went to the calm Dane. Both times it turned out Pogacar underestimated his nutritioning. This year, Pogacar logically seems to have the advantage, although this may not be the case in terms of nutrition. "I don't think Pogacar's team is close to our system, to be honest," says professor Asker Jeukendrup at NOS.

Visma guys are so arrogant. Can't tolerate them anymore... they speak like other teams are amateur and only them are professional.
Unchained episode 2 (Tourmalet stage) shows a clip of Niermann laughing maniacally when their team dropped…. O’Connor. That just reaffirmed all my negative emotions towards the guy. Lack of class and lack of respect towards the peloton IMO. I understand you let such emotions show when you drop Pog, but O’Connor? It couldn’t be anything but pure schadenfreude… TBH, Jonas must be quite a nice guy to be able to keep his composure in such environment…

It's a result of traumatic experiences, mainly PDBF in 2020. I'll be worried about Grischa if his Wunder Kid doesn't show the world who's the strongest this year. Pogi's double would be a huge trauma for the poor man.

The situation is quite different though. That was 4th GT in a row for Froome (Tour+Vuelta, Giro+Tour) in which he was competing for the win.
True and indeed but there will always be somewhat different scenarios in these things wont it?

Also remember Contador also trying it, he imploded more. Im just under the belief its way more than X's and O's at some point the body stop recovering from the efforts to a lesser degree like its usually does and it impacts everything etcetc.

Wasnt Contador and Froome with Froome the latest who tried it who won the Giro or am I missing someone here?

Pogacar forgives Renato Favero who pushed him on Monte Grappa: «I won't report that fan, he's an old man»

They should be humble specially after years and years of Rabofail.
